| STC Pearl® Multipurpose e-Terminal |
STC Multipurpose e-Terminal has been designed to carry out complex biometric data
acquisition and diverse, customer centric disbursement of e-services across geographically dispersed locations. The STC Pearl comprises of all the requisite hardware required for
enrolment of customers, integrated with high functionality customized software according to industry specific solutions. The simple and easy to use interface makes it very practical for operators with minimal training including use on a self-service basis. The sleek exterior houses a high resolution camera for capturing customer’s picture, fingerprint scanner for
enrolling biometrics, smart card reader and a state of the art touch screen for display,
navigation and capturing customer’s signature.The device is equipped with a thermal printer for providing receipt of payments/ information to customers once transactions are completed. GSM/GPRS modules provide connectivity and enable real time transfer of information from the e-Terminal to the central servers and back. A full Qwerty key board is an added feature and provides the back up for the touch screen. The Multipurpose e-Terminal will have the facility to install audio and video training modules in as many languages as required. |

| Registration/Enrolment for Multiple Applications |
Secure Tech Consultancy’s Multi-purpose e-Terminal can provide numerous applications by installing various industry specific software solutions. These include citizen data acquisition & registration for ID card/Driving License programs, branchless bank account opening and provision of mobile financial services, Health Insurance smart cards, beneficiary income support/ration cards and disbursement of related services and visitor management and registration at secure access points etc. Customers/citizens can be registered/enrolled with personal details, biometrics, and signatures with video recordings within a few minutes. Our software has the provision of reading data stored in any smart ID card including PDF-417 barcodes and populating the data fields in an enrollment form thereby minimizing data entry for the operator. ID cards are scanned using the dual sided scanners built in the e-Terminals and digitally transferred with the enrollment form. Other data fields can be entered easily using a full QWERTY keyboard. After customer enrollment (or any other transaction), the e-Terminal has the provision of printing customer and agent receipts using the 2 inch thermal printer with easy
replaceable paper rolls. The system can also issue all types of cards after enrollment by adding a card printer and a smart card encoder. The e-Terminal is invariably used in conjunction with back end central server.

| Verification and e-Disbursement |
| The STC Pearl Multipurpose e-Terminal is an efficient and flexible e-verification and
e-disbursement solution. The device verifies the identity of an ID document holder with biometrics. For social service delivery, the device can cater for money or food
disbursement in dispersed areas. Cash disbursement can be made to the beneficiaries/ customers by authenticating them through biometric verification with a backend data centre where the records are transferred in real time. A real time audit trail is maintained and all invoices from retail agents are reconciled to ensure a transparent and efficient system. The STC Pearl can be used by the banking sector, secure shopping transactions, poverty alleviation/food security programs and health insurance disbursement.etc. In fact its uses are only limited to one’s vision. |

| The STC Pearl e-Terminal has been designed to easily withstand harsh conditions of use. The alpha-numeric keyboards and touch screens are waterproof. Battery backups of at least 2-3 hours have been added to cater to frequent power outages. |

| Real time data transfer |
| The e-Terminal is equipped with GSM/GPRS modules for sending and receiving information to and from the central server on a real time basis. As soon as a new customer’s data is captured, it is sent to the central server. After verification to eliminate fraudulent registrations, the customer data is sent for further processing as required. |

| The STC Pebble is a small, portable, standalone device for receiving and printing GSM based text messages. It provides the user with flexibility to receive instructions over widely dispersed
geographical areas within the ambit of a mobile
communication network. It offers an audit trail and can control country wide sales through a central server, thus ensuring efficiency and fast response to customer needs. The STC Pebble has the option to only print those instructions / receipt that is required giving the flexibility of many hops before the customer transaction in completed through a central server. Suitable for Mobile retail agents, Restaurants and other
consumer based conglomerates to receive orders either directly from the customer or from a
dispatcher such as taxis / cab firms /delivery
drivers etc to receive instructions on new pickups/deliveries or any other situation where messages need to be conveyed to a remote party. |
