JOB: Senior Java Engineer (Spring Boot & Reactive Systems)

Location: Secure Tech Consultancy, Islamabad

Position(s): 1

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Java Engineer with a minimum of 6 years of experience to drive the development of our core systems. This is a role for a technical leader who excels in Reactive programming and has a deep architectural understanding of the Spring ecosystem. You will be responsible for building resilient, high-concurrency applications and setting the standard for technical excellence within our team.

Professional Requirements

• Experience: 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a heavy focus on the Java ecosystem.
• Reactive Expertise: Significant experience in Reactive Programming (WebFlux/Project Reactor) and handling asynchronous data streams.
• Spring Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Spring Boot and its surrounding modules.
• Data Architecture: Advanced SQL skills and deep experience with both traditional ORMs (Hibernate/JPA) and reactive database drivers (R2DBC).
• Security & Integration: Proven track record of implementing OAuth2, JWT, and complex REST API architectures.
• Infrastructure: Solid understanding of Docker and building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Build Systems: Mastery of Maven or Gradle.

Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design: Lead the design and implementation of high-performance, scalable Java applications.
• Code Stewardship: Conduct rigorous code reviews and establish "best-in-class" coding standards.
• System Optimization: Proactively identify bottlenecks and enhance the performance, security, and scalability of existing systems.
• Problem Solving: Take ownership of complex debugging and troubleshooting in production-grade environments.
• Technical Mentorship: Guide junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Deployment: Oversee the deployment and maintenance phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
