JOB: .Net Developer

Location: Secure Tech Consultancy, Islamabad

Position(s): 1

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer to design, develop, test, optimize, and maintain secure and scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development expertise and experience working with Microsoft technologies, APIs, databases, and modern development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable code with comprehensive unit testing.
• Build and maintain backend components and RESTful APIs.
• Optimize applications for security, performance, and reliability.
• Design and maintain database structures and resolve system issues.
• Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and clients.
• Manage code using GitHub and track work through JIRA or similar tools.
• Provide timely project updates and accurate task estimates.
• Research and adopt relevant new technologies and development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API.
• Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and backend components.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB.
• Experience with unit testing and achieving high test coverage.
• Familiarity with GitHub, JIRA, and collaboration tools.
• Understanding of software design principles and security standards.
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies.
• Azure/AWS experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
