STEP collects information about you when you use our mobile application, website and other products and services (collectively, the “Services”) and through other interactions and communications you have with us. If you reside in Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Services are provided by Secure Tech Consultancy (Pvt) Ltd and/or its affiliate (collectively “STEP”), and this privacy policy applies to information collected and used by STEP. Each time you use the Services or provide us with information, by doing so you are accepting the practices described in this privacy policy at that time.
I. Scope and Application
This privacy policy (this “privacy policy") applies to corporate sector in Pakistan who use our Services to to monitor employee attendances, Leave Management and maintaining employees leave records (“Users”). This privacy policy does not apply to information we collect from or about organizations, or any other person who use the STEP platform under license (collectively “Employees”). If you interact with the Services as a corporate organization, the respective privacy policy will apply to your different interactions.
II. Collection of Information
Information You Provide to Us
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create or modify your account, request on-demand services, contact customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. This information may include: company name, name, email, Mobile number, postal address, State, Province and profile picture.
Please note that we do not knowingly collect, keep or maintain personal information from children under the age of 18 through the Services, as we require that all users represent to us that they are at least 18 years old.
Information We Collect Through Your Use of Our Services
When you use our Services, we collect personal information (i.e. information that could be used to contact you directly such as full name, postal address, mobile number, or email address) (“Personal Information”).
III. Use of Information
We may use Personal Information which we collect about you to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our Services, including, for example, to provide products and services you request (and send related information), develop new features, provide customer support to Users, develop safety features, authenticate users, and send product updates and administrative messages.
- Perform internal operations, including, for example, to prevent fraud and abuse of our Services; to troubleshoot software bugs and operational problems; to conduct data analysis, testing, and research; and to monitor and analyze usage and activity trends.
- Send or facilitate communications among employees.
- Send you communications we think will be of interest to you, including information about products, services, promotions, news, and events of STEP.
- Personalize and improve the Services, including to provide or recommend features, content, social connections, referrals, and advertisements.
IV. Protection of Information
- We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI Standards.
- We use regular Malware scanning.
- We use SLL certificate to secure information/data transfer between STEP app and our backend server.

We may share Personal Information and Demographic Information which we collect about you as described in this privacy policy or as described at the time of collection or sharing, including as follows:
We have not enabled Google Adsense on our site but we may do so in future.
